Characteristics and uses of cylindrical roller bearings:
Cylindrical roller bearings are separable bearings, whose inner and outer rings are in linear contact with the rollers, with a small friction coefficient and a high limit speed. The bearings are easy to install and disassemble, and can generally only bear radial loads. Only single-row cylindrical roller bearings with inner and outer ribs can bear smaller quantitative axial loads or larger clearance axial loads; bearings with single ribs can only bear axial loads in one direction; cylindrical roller bearings without inner or outer rings are used in parts with limited radial dimensions. The surface of the journal or housing hole is directly used as the rolling surface, and its surface hardness, processing accuracy and surface quality should be similar to the raceway of the ring.
Cylindrical roller bearings can be divided into single-row, double-row and multi-row cylindrical roller bearings according to the number of rows of rolling elements installed in the bearing. Among them, single-row cylindrical roller bearings with cages are more commonly used. In addition, there are cylindrical roller bearings with other structures such as single-row or double-row full-fill rollers.
Single-row cylindrical roller bearings are divided into N type, NU type, NJ type, NF type and NUP type according to the different ribs of the ferrule. Cylindrical roller bearings have a large radial load capacity and can also withstand certain unidirectional or bidirectional axial loads according to the structure of the ribs of the ferrule.
NN and NNU double-row cylindrical roller bearings have compact structure, strong rigidity, large load capacity, and small deformation after load. They are mostly used to support machine tool spindles.
FC, FCD, FCDP four-row cylindrical roller bearings can withstand large radial loads and are mostly used in heavy machinery such as rolling mills.
Cylindrical roller bearings are mainly used for medium and large motors, generators, internal combustion engines, gas turbines, machine tool spindles, speed reducers, loading and unloading machinery and various industrial machinery.
