Self-aligning ball bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls, a common spherical raceway on the outer ring and two continuous deep groove raceways on the inner ring. They can accommodate angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing, such as caused by shaft deflection. The tapered bore facilitates mounting with an adapter or withdrawal sleeve. Accommodates static and dynamic misalignment Excellent high-speed performance Excellent light-load performance Low friction

PRODUCT DETAILS

Characteristics and uses of self-aligning ball bearings:

The inner ring of the self-aligning ball bearing has two raceways, and the raceway of the outer ring is spherical, and the center of curvature of the spherical surface is consistent with the center of the bearing. Therefore, the inner ring, ball and cage can be tilted freely relative to the outer ring. Therefore, the deviation caused by the processing error of the outer shell can be automatically adjusted.

The self-aligning ball bearing has two structures: cylindrical hole and tapered hole. The cage is made of steel plate, synthetic resin, etc. Its characteristic is that the outer ring raceway is spherical, with automatic self-alignment, which can compensate for the errors caused by eccentricity and shaft deflection, but the relative inclination of the inner and outer rings shall not exceed 3 degrees.

Structure of self-aligning ball bearings:

Deep groove ball bearings with dust covers and sealing rings have been filled with an appropriate amount of grease during assembly. They should not be heated or cleaned before installation. No lubrication is required during use. They are suitable for operating temperatures between -30℃ and +120℃. Main uses of self-aligning ball bearings:
Applicable to precision instruments, low-noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles and general machinery, etc. It is a type of bearing widely used in the machinery industry.
