Thrust ball bearings

One-way thrust ball bearings can withstand axial loads in a single direction. They cannot withstand any radial loads. Their components are separable for easy installation and removal as well as maintenance and inspection. Most parts are interchangeable. The inner hole of the shaft ring is ground to achieve an interference fit with the shaft. PRODUCT DETAILS

Characteristics and uses of thrust ball bearings:

Plane thrust ball bearings are divided into one-way and two-way types. One-way thrust ball bearings are equipped with steel balls between a set of raceways. The contact angle is generally 90°. They can only withstand one-way axial loads and are not suitable for high-speed rotation. This type of bearing can be separated into three pieces, commonly known as three-piece bearings. Both gaskets have arc-shaped deep grooves for the rolling of balls.

Bidirectional thrust ball bearings have an intermediate ring and two outer rings mounted on the shaft. Steel balls are added between the intermediate ring and the outer rings, respectively, and can withstand two-way axial loads.

The outer ring plane seat of the plane thrust ball bearing has a flat seat type, a self-aligning seat type, and a seat type with a self-aligning washer. The retaining frame of one-way and two-way thrust ball bearings is generally formed by stamping steel plates.

Other special types include thrust self-aligning roller bearings, two-way thrust angular contact ball bearings, thrust needle roller bearings, thrust cylindrical roller bearings, etc.
